3. Small diya (oil lamp or LED candle) :- For the centerpiece.


4. Cardboard or foam board :- For the base.


5. Glue gun or strong craft glue :- To assemble the pieces.


6. Scissors or wire cutters :- To cut the spoon handles.


7. Glitter, beads, or sequins :- For embellishments.


8. Feathers (optional) :- To enhance the peacock's tail.


9. Colored paper (optional) :- To add decorative elements.


10. Paintbrushes :-  For painting the spoons.


Step-by-Step Instructions :- 


Step 1: Prepare the Spoons


  • Cut off the handles of the plastic spoons, leaving only the bowl part.


 A) Paint the spoons :- 


  •  Paint some spoons blue for the peacock's body.


  •  Paint others green and golden for the feathers (tail).


  •  Let them dry completely.


Step 2: Create the Base


  •  Cut a circular piece of cardboard or foam board for the base.


  • Paint the base in a color that matches the peacock’s theme (e.g., blue or golden).


  • Glue the diya or LED candle at the center of the base.


Step 3: Assemble the Peacock's Tail


  • Arrange the green and golden spoons in a fan-like pattern on one side of the base (these will form the peacock's tail).

 

  • Glue the spoons securely in place, starting from the outermost row and layering inward to create depth.


  • Optionally, add feathers or sequins between the spoons for a more decorative look.


Step 4: Make the Peacock’s Body


 A) Use the blue-painted spoons to form the peacock’s body :-


  • Glue one blue spoon vertically (as the peacock’s neck and head).


  • Add more blue spoons horizontally to form the body below the neck.


B) Decorate the "neck" spoon by painting eyes and a beak on it. You can also glue a small piece of colored paper or felt to make the beak.


Step 5: Final Decoration


  • Add glitter, beads, or sequins to the tail and body for extra sparkle.


  • Optionally, use small pieces of colored paper or rhinestones to create eyespots on the tail feathers.


  • Ensure all parts are glued securely.


Step 6: Finishing Touches


  • Place the diya or LED candle in the center and light it during festivals for a beautiful display.


  •  Optionally, create a small crown for the peacock using beads or paper to make it more regal.

  •  If you want a sturdier design, use metal spoons instead of plastic ones.
