Photo Frame
Here's how you can make a heart-shaped photo frame using paper roses.
Materials :-
1. Red construction paper or cardstock
2. Scissors
3. Glue stick or hot glue gun
4. Pencil
5. Cardboard or foam board for the base
6. White beads or pearls
7. A picture to frame
Instructions :-
1. Make the Paper Roses :-
- Cut out several red paper circles in different sizes. The larger the circle, the bigger the rose will be.
- Starting from the outer edge, roll each circle tightly towards the center to form a cone shape.
- Secure the tip of the cone with a small amount of glue.
- Gently open up the petals of the rose to give it a more realistic look.
2. Create the Heart Shape :-
- Draw a heart shape on the cardboard or foam board.
- Cut out the heart shape.
3. Assemble the Frame :-
- Start gluing the paper roses onto the heart shape, beginning from the outer edges and working your way inwards.
- Arrange the roses closely together to create a full and textured look..
- Leave a rectangular space in the center of the heart for the photo.
4. Add the photos :-
- Cut a rectangular piece of paper slightly smaller than the photo opening.
- Glue the paper onto the back of the photo to protect it.
- Place the photo in the center of the frame.
5. Decorate the Base :-
- Glue white beads or pearls around the base of the heart to add a touch of elegance.
6. Add a Stand (Optional) :-
- If you want your frame to stand upright, you can attach a small piece of cardboard or wood to the back of the heart as a stand.
Tips :-
- Use a variety of sizes of paper roses to create a more dimensional look.
- Experiment with different colors and patterns of paper.
- You can also add other decorative elements like glitter, ribbons, or lace.
- Make sure the glue is completely dry before handling the frame.
