Step-by-Step Instructions :-


1. Prepare the Newspaper/Paper :-


  • Flatten the newspaper or paper, ensuring there are no creases other than those you plan to fold.


  • Cut the paper into strips of appropriate sizes :-


  • Large strips for the skirt and body.


  • Smaller strips for the hat and finer details.


2. Create the Skirt :-


  • Take a large strip of paper.


  • Fold it accordion-style (pleated folds), ensuring uniform folds.


  • Secure the top edge of the pleated strip using glue or tape to maintain the shape.


  • Roll the pleated piece into a circular shape and glue the ends together to form the base of the skirt.


3. Make the Upper Body :-


  • Cut a smaller strip of paper.


  • Create another set of accordion-style folds for the bodice.


  • Roll the folded paper around to form a conical shape for the torso and secure it with glue.


  • Attach the torso to the skirt using glue or tape.


4. Craft the Arms and Head :-


  • Roll a narrow strip of paper to create the arms. Slightly curl the ends for detailing if needed.


  •  Draw a face on a small circular piece of paper (or use a separate ball of rolled paper for a 3D effect).


  • Attach the head and arms to the torso with glue.


5. Make the Hat :-


  • Cut another strip of paper.


  • Fold it into an accordion or circular shape, similar to the skirt but smaller in size.


  •  Create a flat or rolled base for the hat and attach it to the head.


6. Add Final Details :-


  • Use a marker or pen to draw facial features, buttons, or other decorative elements.


  • Adjust and refine the folds and connections to ensure the figure stands upright and looks well-balanced.
